Something we've noticed...

Tom and I both have recenlty noticed that when I am eating well, I am happy and calm/stable. When I eat anything off "the plan" I get suddenly moody, depressed, irritable. I mean in an immediate, huge switch kinda way. Very interesting!

You know how it goes, "when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!"... so another great motivator to behave myself.

Hm, that shows how much your mood is tied to blood sugar!! My mood is often improved on lower carb too.

How's the eating going? Are you doing low carb or yeast-free? How's the weight?

Mary~

I think definitely that and also the junk in processed foods is affecting me. I have to limit my foods to meat (no pork and preferably no processed/nitrates), fruits (no oranges), vegetables, brown rice and potatoes.

I have now lost a total of 50lbs!

That's interesting. What diet is this? Why no pork? Why no oranges? Have you heard of "The Natural Diet Solution to PCOS and Infertility" by Nancy Dunne? I might get it as it sounds like it has a lot of good information. I'm still pretty low-carb, occasionally eating some bread now but I'm not sure that's the right thing to do as I get nasty and bloated right after eating any bread! :P But I've lost about down to the weight I want to be, so want to try to keep it steady right there.

50 lbs! That's TERRIFIC!! Sounds like the diet is working really well for you! What is your year-end goal? Keep up the good work! :)
